Random Rippling - BRMS opens for inaugural school year

The Broad Ripple Gazette went to "Meet The Teachers Night" at the newly opened Broad Ripple IB Middle School, 1115 Broad Ripple Avenue [H9 on map], to see the high school become a middle school. The gym was packed with parents and students and the line to get in wrapped around the building.
As a 1978 graduate, I enjoyed walking around the school to relive those old days!

Back in the 70s I had drafting class here with Mr. Reeder
Aah! The many confusing levels of the building, a result of many additions.
The original basketball jump circle is exposed in the Media Center that used to be the boys gym.
I used to spend a lot of time backstage here when I was in Ripples Acts
I think this mosaic was installed in the auditorium lobby in the early 60s
