Fans of legendary pizzeria invited to enjoy new pet-friendly outdoor patio and meet Butler Blue IV while supporting IndyHumane and ensuring animals find their Fur-Ever home

What: Lou Malnati's Pizzeria is teaming up with IndyHumane and Butler Blue IV to celebrate spring on its new pet-friendly outdoor patio and help encourage pet adoption and donations ahead of the peak summer season. With milder weather comes more newborn animals and more lost pets, contributing to an overall increase in animals entering shelters-which can lead to overcrowding.

Pizza & Pups on the Patio will take place at Lou Malnati's Broad Ripple location, 6320 Ferguson St. in Indianapolis, on Thursday, April 28, 2022 from 3-5 p.m. The event will feature The IndyHumane Pet Awareness Wagon (The PAW), a fully-contained mobile unit designed to facilitate convenient opportunities to interact with the animals. In addition, Butler University's official mascot, Butler Blue IV will be available to meet and greet guests. With Lou Malnati's Broad Ripple location just a few miles from the campus, this "Dawg About Town" is a great ambassador and advocate for the safety, support and well-being of Indy's animals.

Guests who cannot make it to Pizza & Pups on the Patio are encouraged to dine throughout the day at Lou Malnati's Pizzeria in Broad Ripple as 20% of total sales from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. will be donated to IndyHumane.
