Broad Ripple Pool Opens May 27
The Broad Ripple pool is open starting Saturday, May 27th through Sunday August 6th. The hours of operations will be: Sunday- 12pm-6pm, Monday- Closed, Tuesday-Saturday- 11am-6pm. On Saturday, July 8th the pool will only be open 12pm-6pm for Pack the Parks Day.
General admission is $3 for adults 18 and older, $2 for children 3-17 years and Seniors 62 years and older, and ages 2 and under are free. They also offer group swim lessons for ages 6 months to 13 years old.
Private Swim Lessons are also available for ages 6 months and up. Broad Ripple Pool is also home to the Broad Ripple "Ripples" swim team. Participants must be between the ages of 6 and 16 and be able to swim 25 yards.

(As I have said in past years, the pool closes too early these days. It stays warm through September. Happily, the pool is not closing on Sundays as it did last year.)
Farmers Market to Offer Wednesday Market
The Broad Ripple Farmers Market will add Wednesdays, from 4:30pm to 7:30pm, starting June 7 at the Bent Rail Brewery, 5301 Winthrop Avenue [OO24 on map].
Welcome New Holliday Park Ranger
Welcome to our new Holliday Park Ranger, Daniel Borritt, who replaced Adam Barnes who joined Friends of Holliday Park.
Outdoor movies scheduled
Do you like outdoor movies? Who doesn't? The Hotel Broad Ripple will have its Thursday night movies again this year including:
May 25 - Dazed and Confused
June 1 - Rogue One
June 8 - Trolls
They have added a new event space and will also have 4 new guest rooms at the only hotel in the Ripple.
Over at the Indianapolis Museum of Art, they have movies now on Fridays and some Saturdays including:
June 2 - Footloose
June 9 - Priscilla Queen of the Desert
June 10 - Jungle Book
Nite Ride features new starting point
The annual N.I.T.E. evening bike ride is scheduled for July 8 this year and they will start at the City Market (a new location). The ride starts at 11 p.m.
May 25 - Evening Garden tour at Indianapolis Museum of Art
May 25 - The Tides play at the Holliday Park evening concert , 7 p.m.
