And I think I can say without hesitation that the entire student body and staff share Mrs. Saxhaug and the Varsity Cheerleaders' message. Three cheers for an outstanding season and for putting Ripple basketball back on the map.

• Congratulations Dakota McDonald, who won fourth place in the District-wide Middle School essay competition. She received a cash award of $75, and, along with Mrs. Pattee, will attend an awards ceremony at Marian University on March 20 to recognize her accomplishment. If you would like to check them out, the contest entries will be on display in Grand Central beginning this afternoon.
