I Definitely Couldn't Have Said it Better Myself!
Even the most avid exercisers need a little push here and there. I have several mantras and if you are an avid reader, you might remember an article that I wrote about how positive self-talk can really help one through a hard workout. One thing that surprised me when preparing that column was when I asked my clients what they say to themselves when they need a boost. Most of them said they didn't have a mantra. I think one reason is because they couldn't come up with an effective and empowering statement that really did the trick. So, I thought I would help them, and hopefully you, by going straight to the top. Below, I have compiled a bunch of inspiring quotes from powerful athletes and other famous and influential people.
