Xquisite Clothing Boutique Inc. was established in 2006 by Vernitta Bolden. She moved the shop to Westfield Boulevard across the street from the fire station in May of this year.

"I have always been into fashion since I was a young child and always had a desire for fashion," said Vernitta. "I feel I'm unique and creative when it comes to fashion and love what I do. I enjoy interacting with my customers to make sure I meet their fashion needs. My focus is to bring the latest fashion and styles to Indianapolis (Broad Ripple). I strive for excellence when dealing with my customers because customer service is very important."

Vernitta explained that women love beauty and that clothing is like a piece of art for the body. The Xquisite name comes from Exquisite. Vernitta wanted something a little more creative and unique, and chose Xquisite.

"Xquisite Clothing means a special beauty and extraordinary which you will find in my boutique," added Vernitta. "I'm very particular when choosing clothing to put in my boutique. I have a variety of styles in all sizes. I have accessories, intimate apparel, and handbags. I always dreamed of owning my own boutique. My mother knew I always set goals for myself and that I was determined to accomplish them all, so she gave me a plaque that read "Dreams" which always inspired, motivated, and encouraged me to work hard."
