August 21, 2007, Twin Cats
A multi- dimensional Jazz/Funk band, The Twin Cats are home grown talent who are rapidly building a following. The name is derived from the band's founders identical twins, Adam Catron (drums) and Seth Catron (Lead Guitar, Vocals). Cameron Reel is a bass player with attitude, as well as remarkable skill. Phil Geyer (keyboards) and Nick Gerlach (sax/flute) round out the group. The night started with Miles Davis then blues that rival live acts in Memphis. Throw in some James Brown with a pinch of Gas Fusion and you have Twin Cats. www.thetwincats.net

August 28, 2007, Bill Lancton Group
The last concert of the series ended with the biggest audience and one of the top guitarists in the Midwest, Bill Lancton. You may know him from the outstanding sounds of Dog Talk. For this summer night, there was the "Group", consisting of Al Schikaly (sax and flute), hot drummer, Vincent Jackson, Scott Pazera (bass) and Allen Burke (keyboards). A rendition of Sunshine Superman was highlighted by the B3 sound of the 60s.
Summertime was sublime with a flute solo that haunted the air. Several selections had Latin flavor. What a perfect way to close an evening. www.billlancton.com
