A new piece of public art was recently unveiled in the Village. A large shopping bag sporting the Broad Ripple Village logo and the Village slogan "we're open if you are" was installed high atop the Guilford Avenue wall of Chelsea's. The design and funding for this public art was arranged by the cultural tourism initiative. Broad Ripple Village is one of six designated cultural districts in Indianapolis.
