To the people of Broad Ripple, my name is Junior Mclean, I am a digital artist from New York City. I have been living out here in Anderson for over a year and a half now, and have done my best to showcase my digital illustrations in either 2D or 3D. My main focus is on FRACTAL ART. Based on its use it can be very powerful depending on just how creative or imaginative one can be on a personal computer.
Coming to Broad Ripple, I have seen things I'm used to seeing within areas back home and felt this is where I need to share and showcase my work, I believe there's a better acceptance here and my goals here in Indiana for digital art exposure will be well known by few if not by many.
Thanks for reading, visit my site if you like as well: http://junior.mosaicglobe.com.

I am writing in response to the article titled, "Andy Chen - Artist at IAC," written by Heidi Huff in the Aug 10 - Aug 23 issue of the Gazette.
The Indianapolis Art Center would like to apologize for Heidi's experience on July 27, while looking for an event hosted at the Art Center. We would like, however, to point out that the slide-show jam was not organized by the Art Center, and that Art Space 30 rented the space through our special events department.
The Art Center feels that cross-promotion of all art and cultural activities is vital to furthering the arts in Indianapolis, but only acted as a rented space for this particular event. We are always open to relationships of this kind and are very large supporters of the "Be Indypendent" campaign that is being led by the Arts Council of Indianapolis.
We will be sure to inform our guest services staff of all events going on in the Art Center, but we ask patrons to realize that we will not have detailed information on events that are not organized by the Art Center. We hope to continue our good rapport with the Gazette as we appreciate the informational content you provide to our patrons.
Sincerely,
Joyce A. Sommers, President and Executive Director Indianapolis Art Center
