Poetic Thoughts - To: Abstract James Horn - by C.W. Pruitt II
posted: Nov. 17, 2006
My dear friend Abstract James Horn and I share many artistic interests. We collaborate almost every day. He has drawn me many times and I have written him many poems. Here is an example of one of the poems I have written for him:
To: Abstract James Horn
The small
mustard seed
when planted
in good soil
becomes
the largest
of trees.
Birds come
to rest in
its many branches.
So it is with
the human aura.
Dig deep within
your Soul
and cultivate
that mustard seed.
Countless many will
take refuge
in your branches.
With Love,
C.W. Pruitt II
