Random Rippling - Jason Curry Kicks Off Jazz in the Park

The golden tones of Jason Curry's sax permeated the evening air at Broad Ripple Park August 2nd. The talented Jason Curry Quintet (a quartet this time) of sax, bass, electric piano and drums kicked off the Broad Ripple Summer Jazz Series 2006. Folks brought their chairs, picnics and dogs and settled in for two hours of music by the Duke (that's Ellington) and favorites, such as Body and Soul.
Jason's sax satisfied the crowd despite the high heat and humidity.
