Random Rippling - Indiana Speed Conquers Division Rivals

The Indiana Speed professional women's football team conquered its division rivals the Minnesota Vixen, on Saturday, July 29 at Broad Ripple High School with a final score of Indiana 14, Minnesota 0.
Indiana Speed #88 Vee Hicks (WR) dodges the Vixen defense.

Indiana's special teams led the night with Vee Hicks, #88, returning two kick-offs for TDs. Hicks ended the night with 206 return yards. Ashley Goodyear, #62 led the defense again with 11 tackles. April Priest, #87, was solid throughout the game with six tackles and three carries for 39 yards. Minnesota's #68, Jeanette Nord led the defense with six tackles.
The Indiana Speed is a member of the Women's Professional Football League (WPFL), which strives to further opportunities for women in football. The next home game will be Saturday, September 9 at 7 P.M.
