Guinness & Harp's
Better Than A Biscuit: BOYZBOOKZ

Harp: Oh, how I love the days of summer. Basking in the sunshine. Howling at sirens with Wags.
Guinness: And ME. . . don't forget me!
H: How could I Guinness? The whole 'hood knows your " low waggin' tail with nose up in the air" wail.
G: Our crazy mama seems to have forgotten me. Her hands are busy turning pages of books rather than rubbing behind my ears and scratching my back and generally spending all her time with me. What could possibly be more interesting than me?
H: I vote for the cookbook she's reading.
G: You mean "THE HEIRLOOM TOMATO COOKBOOK"? UGH. I hate tomatoes.
H: I love em. And each year in Santa Rosa, California at the Kendall-Jackson winery people celebrate them. Took them ten years to put a cookbook together but well worth the wait. The event profits The School Garden Network that gives kids hands on experience with the earth.
G: Like digging in the dirt with their noses? I LOVE that!
H: Me too but we dig for moles the kids dig and plant and learn. Famous California chefs contributed recipes and the photos make me want to ring Pavlov's bell!
G: I know the poster promoting the tomato event inspired our crazy mama and Trio's mama to design the Broad Ripple Farmers Market poster and the cool banners on the Monon Trail.
H: And the last name of the artist who painted the poster and banner picture is Partridge. I bet Trio would love to feast on some inspired partridges if they treed in Broad Ripple. Woof woof!
G: Woof Woof! Hey, that reminds me of the other book mama is reading. I think it's about our 'hood, Warfleigh.
H: Guinness you are better off if you don't think. The book is "SAN FRANCISCO'S FISHERMAN'S WHARF" by Alessandro Baccari Jr. It's a fine collection of photos and first person stories gathered from the early 1900's to the present.
G: It's not about Warfleigh??
H: Nope. But reading the book is like discovering the diary of a neighbor with cherished photos taped along side. It really brings history to life as most people think of the area as a tourist destination. Mr. Baccari's book is a real show and tell of people and place.
G: Sounds like school and just like Hans, Sophie and Frank we will head to class soon.
H: Guinness, we don't go to school.
G: But mama got us tutored several years ago...
H: That was NEUTERED my brother.
G: We think these books and art make the cut:

SUNFLOWER SELECTION
What? Did I hear you correctly? You've never tasted the 2005 Geyser Peak Sauvignon Blanc? This is the year to do so as last year's harvest produced Sauvignon Blanc grapes with plenty of zippy, refreshing aromas and flavors of white grapefruit, honeydew melon and herbs. Pour a glass and savor with a dish created from your garden or grilled fish or shellfish. Even heirloom tomato dishes get an extra flavor kick when paired with this balanced, fresh, dry white wine.
