The 3rd annual Taste of Broad Ripple will be Saturday, June 4, from 3 pm to 10 pm. As in previous years, the event will in the streets just south of the canal - Guilford Avenue and Westfield Boulevard.

Admission is $5 for adults and $2 for children 8 and under. Children in strollers are free.

Free Park-N-Ride Shuttles will be provided from 2:30 pm to 10:30 pm from Glendale Mall and Broad Ripple Park.

Some of the local restaurants scheduled for the Taste are Naked Tchopstix, Scholars Inn Bakehouse, Pizza Express, Dicks Bodacious BBQ, Marco's Pizza, Chumley's, Ripple Bagel & Deli, Shalimar, Yats, Jazz Kitchen, Bleeker Street, Parthenon, and Just Pop In. Each restaurant is planning a special sample item available for $1, allowing attendees on a budget to try foods from several places.

Several bands will be performing on the stage: Living Proof from 3:30 to 4:30, Labeados from 5:05 to 6:05, Mike & Joe from 6:40 to 7:40, and Jessica Andrews from 8:15 to 9:15.
