Random Rippling - New BR Fire Station opens

The new Indianapolis Fire Department Station #32 is open at 6355 N. College Avenue [E3 on map]. The Mayor's office was given a tour of the facility recently, but no ribbon cutting ceremony is planned.
On July 1, 2026, the Metropolitan Development Commission voted to pass Resolution No. 2026-R-018 to allow the Department of Metropolitan Development (DMD) to acquire the old fire station located at Guilford Avenue and Westfield Boulevard so as to facilitate its redevelopment.
