Below are 2 recent and related poems.
The first is a playful piece about Jimi Hendrix's estate and his penchant for amassing parking tickets with his Corvette.
The second is a variation on advice given to me by Dr. Marcia Summers at Ball State U. It is some of the greatest advice I have ever received.

jimi hendrix
makes quite a bit
of money
even though
he is dead

it is sometimes
hard to find something
to spend a lot
of money on

(but jimi did have
lots of parking tickets)
