The following poem was written while listening to "The Wailers" album Burning (1973) on CD.

Forever Bob Marley

from an ill-defined space
where attachments are low
thoughts attach to
the idealism of
Bob Marley And The Wailers
and a drifting occurs
a sifting though
of daily dross.
a dose of clarity emerges
and i am
lifted to know
that i am listening
to the music
that human beings
will be listening to
Forever
