Indianapolis Cultural Trail, Inc. invites residents and visitors to experience downtown's holiday season in the most immersive way possible: by bicycle. On Saturday, December 6, 13, and 20 from 4:00-7:00 PM, the nonprofit will host Riding in a Winter Wanderland, a free, guided group ride that showcases the Indianapolis Cultural Trail: A Legacy of Gene and Marilyn Glick as the best way to explore downtown Indy's holiday festivities all season long.

Participants will pedal along the brightly lit Cultural Trail, making multiple stops to experience iconic holiday destinations including the Athenaeum Christkindlmarkt and a full lap around the Circle of Lights.

"Downtown is a great place to experience the joy of the holiday season, and the Cultural Trail is the thread that ties all the festivities together," said Kären Haley, Executive Director of Indianapolis Cultural Trail, Inc. "The Winter Wanderland bike rides let people experience the Cultural Trail and the downtown destinations in all of the holiday splendor in a new way while connecting with neighbors along the way."

• Beginner-friendly 4-5 mile route
• Stops at the Circle of Lights and Athenaeum Christkindlmarkt
• A fun, welcoming way to meet people and explore downtown
• Bring your own bike or use Pacers Bikeshare
• Festive food and beverages will also be available for purchase at the Athenaeum Christkindlmarkt, giving participants an opportunity to warm up and enjoy a snack during the ride
