Zoning issues at BRVA September meeting

There were around 18 in attendance at the September 23, 2025, public meeting of the Broad Ripple Village Association [BRVA] Land Use and Development committee that was held in the basement of Northminster Presbyterian Church, 1660 Kessler Boulevard.
There was one item on the agenda, in bold below.
1849 Broad Ripple Avenue - Blooming Star Properties, LLC: Justin Kingen with NDZA, Inc., presenting on a request to rezone the 0.12-acre property from the D-5 district to the C-1 district to provide for commercial office and body care salon to support the relocation of Lotus Spa and Nails. Case #2025-ZON-093 - Hearing scheduled for September 25, 2025
This request was to rezone a house at the southwest corner of Broad Ripple Avenue and Crittenden Avenue to allow for Lotus Spa and Nails. Formerly, Posh Coiffure Studios had been at this location.
The committee voted to support this project.
The next public meeting of the committee is scheduled for Tuesday, October 28, 2025, at 6pm, at Northminster Presbyterian Church.
