Broad Ripple Park recently removed the fencing from the forest portion of the park that is along Evanston Avenue [FF30 on map]. Here is the statement from Indy Parks:

Thank you for reaching out. We were made aware that the fencing had sustained damage over time. After gathering feedback from community stakeholders, it was removed in an effort to beautify the park and to allow for better community access to the wooded portion along Evanston.
