This is a photo the northeast corner of 60th and Carrollton Avenue [K4 on map]. It is a piece of history (that we have featured before) that marks the corner as 59th Street. This sidewalk was poured before the street renumbering happened. It says 59th St, but it is now 60th.

Now, I will combine two other Broad Ripple Gazette features! I will state that this is the last remaining sidewalk marking. That is a challenge for the readers to prove me wrong, thus finding a mistake. You know, Mistakes Can Be Sweet!

It is also a Query Corner - Do any readers know of more marked sidewalk corners? Most have been repoured over the years.

As a side note, this all comes up because a long-time reader knows of one that is buried under about 4 inches of grass and thatch. She contacted us and we are working with her to uncover the historic markings! It may be Spring until we are successful.
