Eight Eleven Group Hosts 7th Annual E3 Day of Service Event
posted: Sept. 19, 2024
The Eight Eleven Foundation, the charitable arm of Eight Eleven Group, is hosting its 7th annual E3 Day of Service on September 20, 2024, from 9 AM to 3 PM at their headquarters, in the heart of Broad Ripple.
Eight Eleven Group, a local recruiting, consulting, and professional services company, has a long-standing tradition of supporting its communities. Last year, their offices across the country donated time and resources to over 30 nonprofits. This year, the Indianapolis-based team will be partnering with six local organizations.
Volunteers will support LYN House and the Indianapolis Goodwill Foundation, help the Broad Ripple Village Association clean up Broad Ripple Village by picking up trash, pulling weeds, and planting new plants along the canal to spruce up our community, put together care packages and write thank you cards for Helping Veterans and Families (HVAF), decorate meal bags and write letters to support Meals on Wheels, assist Providence Cristo Rey High School in preparing for their annual fundraiser, and lead a tour for Butler University students to share more about the Eight Eleven family of companies and their opportunities.
The company's 30+ offices nationwide will also be participating in the E3 Day of Service, highlighting their commitment to giving back across the country. The company offers eight hours of Paid Volunteer Time (VTO) per quarter to employees to allow them to serve philanthropies of their choosing throughout the year.
To further the company's focus on service, the Eight Eleven Foundation was established in 2022. The foundation serves as a charitable arm for the company and champions career-focused development and building a brighter future for all through its three pillars: the People of Eight Eleven, Education, and Social Conscience. The organization will host its third annual fundraiser event on October 5th at Eight Eleven's headquarters.
"Across all levels, the Eight Eleven family of companies is deeply committed to empowering those we serve," says Carlie Oakley, Eight Eleven Group's Chief Brand Officer and Eight Eleven Foundation President. "Seeing our employees dedicate their time and passion to the community is incredibly rewarding. We are excited for the positive impact we'll make in Indianapolis and nationwide."
