ego is a short-sighted
trip
immediate gratification
was less gratifying
than the long haul
on planet earth
with us

②

we are players
in a long-term game
our minutes are slim
we are a glimpse
of a glimpse
of a blip
on the Cosmic radar screen
and we are merely
role players in this game
however,
out roles
are epic
