This photo from 1913 show the White River flood that devastated Broad Ripple. I don't know where this was taken, but based on the telephone poles and shadows, I think it is looking north from about the canal Monon Railroad bridge. I think the street would have been Jefferson Street, what is Westfield Boulevard today.

This photo was in my cousin's collection. There are several more flood images. I will try to do an article on the flood and include them.
