The ad for the Broad Ripple Lumber Company ran in 1924. It states they had been around for 15 years, which puts the start at 1909! The lumber company was at 1001 E. 63rd Street (Broad Ripple Avenue today) which is now Cholita on the lower floors, Pilates Indy above, and Ascension St. Vincent doctors and many businesses in the buildings to the south, where the lumber was stored.
