This photo is from Marc Crumpton who owned Broad Ripple Refinishing at 916 Westfield Boulevard in the 1980s. He took this during Broad Ripple's Sesquicentennial celebration in 1987. It is looking to the northwest on Westfield Boulevard from about Winthrop Avenue.

Broad Ripple Refinishing is in the center with the awning. It is in the Dawson building (the Dawson name in stone is covered with a banner here).

To the right is Mr. Video, where Monon Coffee Co is today.

You can see the oval Rexall Drugs sign on the left. This was Lobraico's Drug Store, where Chelsea's was for years and Runners Forum and The Red Room are today.
