Nothing but Bluebirds All Day Long*
Over the last several years an urban phenomenon has been occurring. Bluebirds are finding their way back into the city. Normally their habitat is open fields while nesting in tree cavities or houses built specifically to their specifications.

My neighbors are reporting flocks of these beautiful round, blue plumage and orange-belly birds. They love eating insects and fruit. By offering suet, sunflower chips, and meal worms, they may find your feeding station. In addition to feeding bluebirds, add a bluebird house. They will also chose a nesting cavity that a woodpecker has artfully carved out.
Bluebirds carry special meanings and have appeared in literature and song to celebrate their symbol of hope, love, positivity, and renewal. Bluebirds are considered a sign that good luck is just around the corner. Their meaning and their beauty leave positive vibes and delight in my backyard.
