Mayor Joe Hogsett and The Indianapolis Foundation announced that the fourth round of the Elevation Grant Program is now open at ElevationGrant.org. The grant program utilizes The Indianapolis Foundation's equity framework and gives priority to organizations clearly demonstrating immediate intentionality around violence reduction and supporting programs using evidence-based violence reduction programming or promising strategies that also elevate the assets, aspirations, hope and the safety of neighborhoods impacted by violence.

"The Elevation Grant Program inherently is about shifting power," said Pamela Ross, vice president of community leadership and equitable initiatives for The Indianapolis Foundation. "We will continue to invest in community members crafting solutions that make Marion County thrive and cultivate resilience and joy. And we trust in their ability to do so."

During this round of funding, $12.3 million will be granted to organizations focused on the following categories:

• Thriving neighborhoods
• Empowered youth and young adults
• Restoration and resilience
• Justice-involved supports
• Intervention

"The Elevation Grant is a critical funding opportunity for neighborhood groups dedicated to the enrichment of residents in underserved areas," said Mayor Joe Hogsett. "Since 2022, the City of Indianapolis has funded-and The Indianapolis Foundation has administered-this grant at its highest-ever levels, empowering more of the local organizations that know our community best."

The Indianapolis Foundation is hosting a grant preparation clinic on Tuesday, July 11 at 5:30 p.m. The session will allow potential applicants to receive tailored guidance to navigate eligibility and the application process. Register for the clinic here.
