The small building at 1040 Broad Ripple Avenue [G7 on map], between the White River and FedEx, was razed on August 30, 2022. A project with eight condominiums will be built here. The building was built in 1993 as an office for Andy Wolf, of Bud Wolf Chevrolet. The Bud Wolf new and used car lots occupied both sides of Broad Ripple Avenue in the area until around 1980. Most recently Chef J.J.'s Backyard was in the 1040 building.
