Popular Drive-Through Christmas Light Display returns to the Indiana State Fairgrounds & Event Center
posted: Nov. 11, 2021

A family holiday tradition continues at the Indiana State Fairgrounds & Event Center and it's bigger and better than ever! The show will feature singing snowmen (over 20' tall), a life-sized Nativity, Candyland, a giant American flag and a spectacular 240 ft. wall of lights, making it the largest synchronized show in Central Indiana. This dazzling light display will be open from 6-10 p.m., November 12 through January 2, 2022.
New this year: tickets must be purchased in advance, online at www.christmasnightsoflights.com/indianapolis. Tickets will be honored in two timeslots: enter the show anytime between 6-8 p.m. or 8-10 p.m. Cost is $30 per carload, up to 8 people; $50 per carload, 9-15 people and $75 per carload, 16-35 people.
This family-friendly event features a 2-mile car ride through more than a million LED lights synchronized to traditional and more modern Christmas music. Visitors of all ages will be awed by the display's RGB technology that creates larger-than-life trees, glowing snowflakes, dancing candy canes, mischievous elves, enchanting tunnels of lights, and much more. In the warmth of their own vehicle, guests tune their radio dial to a dedicated signal and sing along to the sounds of the season synchronized to holiday lights.
This immersive experience will be offered snow, rain or shine every evening, including holidays. The height of vehicles must be NO MORE than 11 ft. tall to drive through the light display. Guests should enter the Indiana State Fairgrounds at Gate 12, 1698 E. 42nd Street, Indianapolis, IN 46205.
"We're thrilled to return to the iconic Indiana State Fairgrounds," said the Richie King, Titan Light Shows, Inc. "The Fairgrounds has been a popular family venue for a remarkable 128 years and we're thrilled to work with their outstanding team again - especially given that we're able to celebrate the true spirit of the season by supporting local charities."
The Arthritis Foundation, Salvation Army and Indy Humane are among local charities to benefit from a portion of the event's proceeds. The holiday light show is produced by Titan Light Shows, Inc., Bluff City, Tennessee. To request an interview with Richie King: Richie@titanlightshows.com. Tips for attending Christmas Nights of Lights
  • Make a quick stop at the portable toilets at the beginning of the show.
  • Know how to tune your car radio and turn off your headlights - Google how to do this in advance, if needed.
  • Tour buses with more than a 35-person capacity or limos will not be admitted, as those vehicles are unable to drive safely through the show. Vehicles over 11' tall will not be able to access the light show, due to height restrictions at the entrance.
  • Don't forget to bring snacks!
