Indianapolis Public Library hours change
posted: Nov. 05, 2020
As of Wednesday, November 4, The Indianapolis Public Library's nine locations that currently offer Sunday service will temporarily discontinue Sunday hours, and all locations will shift Tuesday hours to Noon to 8:00pm.
The locations affected by changes to Sunday hours will include Central Library, InfoZone at The Children's Museum, and the Franklin Road, Glendale, Nora, Pike, Southport, Warren, and Wayne Branches. The Lawrence Branch typically offers Sunday hours, but is still closed as it has experienced significant delays in its renovation due to Covid-19.

The decision comes from Library leadership in an effort to ease cross-location staffing concerns due to Covid-19 and to identify an adjustment that would be least disruptive for patrons. See more details on our website.

- Monday 10:00am - 6:00pm
- Tuesday 12:00pm - 8:00pm
- Wednesday 10:00am - 6:00pm
- Thursday 10:00am - 6:00pm
