Butler's 2020-21 men's basketball schedule continues to take shape as the Bulldogs' first two games have been announced. Butler will host Western Michigan on Wednesday, Nov. 25, which has been set by the NCAA as the opening day of the season. The Bulldogs will also host Eastern Illinois on Sunday, Nov. 29, at Hinkle Fieldhouse.

Game times and television assignments will be announced at a later date. Butler is also finalizing an additional non-conference game for the weekend of December 5-6 at Hinkle Fieldhouse. That opponent is expected to be announced in the coming days.

Butler holds a 9-3 lead in the all-time series with Western Michigan, with the teams last meeting twice during the 1949-50 season. That was Butler's last season as a member of the Mid-American Conference. Eastern Illinois has won four of the six previous match-ups with Butler. The two programs last met in the 2000-01 season opener.

Butler's remaining 2020-21 schedule will continue to be announced as it is finalized. The BIG EAST has announced Butler's December conference games.
