This issue's Random Historic Photo is of the Broad Ripple Sesquicentennial held in 1987. This was the celebration of the 150th year since the Town of Broad Ripple was founded. This photo shows Indy race cars in a parade on Broad Ripple Avenue. Seen on the left is the Broad Ripple Antique Mall which was located at 818 Broad Ripple Avenue [H4 on map]. Today, the BRVA office is at that location.
