Preschool Storytime, March 17, 24 & 31 at 10:30 a.m. Preschoolers ages 3 - 6 and an adult are invited for crafts, sensory building, literacy skills, science and technology exercises and more.
Mother Goose on the Loose, March 12, 18, 19, 25 & 26 at 10:30 a.m. Babies, toddlers and preschoolers and an adult are invited for an early literacy program.
Career Center, March 12, 19 & 26 from 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. Adults needing help with creating a resume, searching for a job or career online, or filling out an online job application are invited to receive free one-on-one assistance. The Career Center is made possible by Friends of the Library through gifts to The Indianapolis Public Library Foundation.
Count Me Indy! Census 2020, March 16 from 11 a.m. - 3 p.m. Have your questions answered and receive assistance in filling out your 2020 Census form by representatives from CountMeIndy and the U.S. Census. The Library's free access to computers will allow you to fill out your Census form online.
Pajama Storytime, March 16 at 6:30 p.m. Families with children ages 3 - 8 are invited for a fun-filled storytime featuring music, stories and a craft. Children can wear their pajamas!
Storybook Friends: Preschool Art Workshop, March 17 from 10:30 - 11:30 a.m. Preschoolers ages 3 - 6 are invited to join Ripple Mobile Arts to explore their creative side as a little author. They'll draw, color and create their own little books and make items for their creative designs. This program is inspired by the "Elephant & Piggie" books.
Saturday Storytime, March 21 at 10:30 a.m. Babies, toddlers and preschoolers with an adult are invited for stories, songs, fingerplays and play time.
Tortilla Cooking Class for Kids, March 24 from 3:30 - 4:30 p.m. Children ages 6 - 12 are invited to join Nutrition Services of the Marion County Health Department for a hands-on tortilla-making experience and cooking lesson.
Drawing Manga 101 for Kids and Teens, March 26 from 3:30 - 4:30 p.m. Kids and teens are invited to join Art With a Heart to learn the basics of Manga-style drawing and incorporate storytelling through the characters' facial expressions. Each participant will take home a step-by-step Art With a Heart drawing booklet and a starter set of colored pencils.
