Balance
Balance in life is important. I never gave the concept of 'balance' much consideration until bipolar disorder emerged within me in 1998. I was catapulted to the sky and driven into the ground (repeatedly). So I now seek 'balance' and embrace the concept.
Below is a poem about staying centered through the outer reaches of thought and through the immediate palpable moment:

contemplating
the infinite
while living
in the now
one hand
in the sky
on hand
on the plow
