HEADY BOTTLES
Some scarily good wine from the Santa Lucia Highlands area of California. The Sleepy Hollow Vineyard has terroir and climate akin to the Burgundy region of France, home to some of the worlds finest and most expensive Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. Talbott Vineyards offers up two affordable gems from this hillside vineyard near the Pacific Ocean. The lush fruity Kali Hart Chardonnay shows tropical and Asian fruit. The Kali Hart Pinot Noir is earthy and rich with notes of plum and red currant. Great values and excellent candidates for Thanksgiving dinner too.
THINGS THAT GO BUMP IN THE NIGHT
Kudos to the hundreds of zombies who took to the streets to raise money and canned goods for Gleaners. It was a chilly night but the dexterous juggler tossing the flaming hula hoop and the toe tapping tunes on the Brics deck made for a devilishly delightful evening.
