This ad for Sutho Suds appeared in 1946. The "hidden" location of this old business was recently shown as the signs were removed one by one from the now defunct Double 8 Grocery headquarters, south east of Broad Ripple, at 46th and the Fair Train tracks near Keystone. The building has been for sale and is being cleaned up. First, the Double 8 sign came down revealing the Seven-Eleven Grocery office and warehouse sign. Next, that sign came down revealing the sign engraved into the limestone facade for Sutho-Suds. I did some research and found that it was a company that made synthetic soap - "A post-war miracle - Perfected during the war for vital war uses".
