On Saturday, December 21st, 2016, at the University of Indianapolis, a pair of BR Rocket sisters both swam their way to city championships in two events each. Jessica Halsmer (left), a junior, won the 200 yard IM and then broke her own record in the 100 yard back to set a new city record of 1:00:62. Her sister, Sandy (right), a freshman won both the 50 and 100 yard Freestyle events and narrowly missed the existing record in the 50. The sisters also swam on two relays with Audree Nealy and Brooke Blakemore which came in sixth in the city. Ty Brown, a BR resident, placed seventh in the 100 y. Free and made the podium with a fifth place finish in his 100 y. Breaststroke swim. Congratulations Rockets!
