Most Broad Ripple residents know the Yamaha grand player piano that has been on the small stage at the Broad Ripple McDonald's. It was installed in January 2003 when the McDonald's was remodeled with a Lavazza coffee bar in the front room. Since then, many musicians and students have played for the patrons. Recently McDonald's donated the piano to the Broad Ripple Magnet High School music department.
