Sip your way into Spring

Spring forward and fill your glass with some easy to find, affordable wines that I have sampled over the past few months as my travels took me between the frigid midwest and the warm west coast. All under $15 and many "screw cap" for ease in opening and closing.
Cupcake Sauvignon Blanc, New Zealand-dry and fresh white; not as zippy and tangy as most NZ SB's but offers soft hints of pink grapefruit and peach for less than $6.
Clos du Bois UNOAKED Chardonnay, California-harder to find but worth the look; pure fruit with no oak; a delicious dry white with notes of apples and pears.
Estancia UNOAKED Chardonnay, California-Another delicious drink of white wine; for those who don't like oaky, fruit bombs, this is another wine to seek, find and savor.
Charles and Charles Rose, Columbia Valley, WA-DRY pink wine; lovely nose of cherries and strawberries with clean, crisp mineral finish. Lovely with Easter ham or lamb.
Cherry Tart Pinot Noir, Sonoma County, California-Dry, smooth, fresh red wine with expressive notes of red fruit. Perfect red wine to drink on the patio as evening light lingers.
Apothic Crush, California-Limited release blend of Petite Syrah and Pinot Noir; not for the faint of heart as this is full on flavor. Dry, bold, smooth with inviting aromas of toffee and mocha, followed by lush black fruit flavors. WOW and under $15. Fire up the grill!
