• Congratulations to the first ever Broad Ripple Indoor Winter Color Guard, who competed in the Grand Finale Competition at Center Grove on Saturday. The team of Alonashay Landers, Jimiria Bailey, Jordon Gaines, Alexis Scott, Sativa Rowell, and the equipment crew of Mauricio Acosta, Jonathon Rojas, and D'Onte Norris all represented Broad Ripple in fine fashion. We look forward to improving and growing as we already are making plans for next year! Great job!

• Broad Ripple Alum do good! IU College or Arts & Sciences 2012 Fall Dean's List Eligibility: students who complete at least 12 graded credit hours in a single semester, earning at least a 3.700 GPA. They will be recognized at the Founder Scholars' Program on April 6. All four are BR grads of 2009. All four are seniors. Derek Kaellner, Sean Kaellner, Lindee Welsh, Kelsey Van Wyk.

• Congratulations to Shakira Bowers who received the State NAACP ACT-SO Award in Sculpture, Michaela McCulley who received the State Award for Photography and senior Aaron Dorsett - NAACP ACTSO VISUAL ART STATE WINNER. All will compete at the ACT-SO Nationals in New Orleans in July.
