• Congratulations to freshman Emily Nejako, a National Winner in the Quill and Scroll 2012 International Writing and Photo Contest. Her review of a CD by pop singer Adele was one of 21 winners among 212 entries. The review was published in the January issue of the Riparian.

• The Broad Ripple Magnet Middle School String Quintet consisting of members Ruby Smith, Maria Argumedo, Kaleb Edwards, Eric Poett, and Susanna McVay earned a Gold rating at the IPS Indiana State School Music Association Solo and Ensemble Competition held yesterday at Northwest H.S.!!! Way to go! We are so proud of you!
