HARMONI officially changed its name to Midtown Indianapolis, Inc at the end of 2011. The non-profit was established in 2007 to constructively shape the future of the area called Midtown which includes the historic neighborhoods of Broad Ripple Village, Butler-Tarkington, Mapleton-Fall Creek, Meridian-Kessler and Meridian Street Foundation.

The mission of Midtown is to enhance the district's sense of place; provide walkable, bikeable, and transit-friendly neighborhoods; promote local businesses and cultural destinations; and attract community and business development. More information can be found online at midtownindy.org.
