Do you like to look at classic cars? Do you have a classic or a somewhat unusual car that you want to show off? Either way, come to the Hoods & Hops Classic Car Show at Optimist Park just east of College Avenue at 66th Street on Sunday, July 10, 2011, from noon to 5pm. This is the second year for the show. Broad Ripple Brewpub's John Hill, sponsor of the event, will be pouring their brews. The show is free, but any donations will go to support the Broad Ripple Village Association (BRVA). Visitors that make a donation get a voting slip so they can vote for their favorite cars. Prizes will be awarded.

John Hill described the event as we had lunch at his 65th and Cornell pub. "It's a fund raiser for the Village, but I did it because I like to look at cars," laughed Hill. "We're going to try to fill the field [at Opti Park] with as many cars as we can. Last year we had about 40 cars."
