Townes at Winthrop back on track

Long-time readers of the Broad Ripple Gazette will remember the stories we wrote on the condo developments in the 6100 block of Winthrop Avenue in 2007. There was much controversy back then. Eventually a project was approved and shortly after the start of the development, the contractor went out of business.
Now the project is back and is in good hands. Integra Builders has purchased the property and is set to complete the condo project between Winthrop and the Monon trail, with lower prices and more options.
Janet McAdams of Century 21 Scheetz took me on a tour. The townhomes include hardwood floors on the main level, stainless appliances, fireplaces, security systems, granite countertops and custom cabinetry. The Townes at Winthrop are two-bedroom, two-car garage townhomes starting at $215,000.
Integra is willing to upgrade and customize the interiors for the buyer.
There are four already built units available, one on Winthrop and three on the Monon Trail. These are in buildings 4, 9, and 10 on the project plan below. As additional townhomes are sold, the rest of the buildings will be constructed.
Monon Trail access is available between buildings 9 and 10. A small green space is planned between buildings 6 and 7.
For more information contact Janet McAdams 814-5259.
