Broad Ripple Village and the canal are prominently displayed in an international pin wall at the Olympics. The Hudson Bay Trading Company (founded in 1670) opened a huge Vancouver 2010 Olympics merchandise store within their downtown Vancouver location. The shop was packed 24 hours a day. At 8:30am on a Sunday the line to get into the store was two city blocks long. The morning before the pin was placed on the international pin wall, Team USA beat Team Sweden in Men's Curling at the Vancouver Olympic Centre.
