The Annual 11th District Oratorical Zone 3 contest was held at Broad Ripple Post 3, located at the corner of 64th and College Avenue, on February 14th. The winner, Leah Holden of Shenandoah High School, Middletown, IN (sponsored by American Legion Post 216 - Middletown, IN) advances to the Department Oratorical Contest Finals which will be held on the 4th floor at The Indiana American Legion Headquarters, 777 N. Meridian Street, on March 7th, at 1:00 p.m. The zone 3 runner up was Kadiesha Ricks of Lawrence North High School, Indianapolis, IN (sponsored by American Legion Post 186 - Indianapolis, IN).
