Random Rippling - carillon at Butler University
posted: Oct. 16, 2009
The carillon at Butler University celebrated its 50th anniversary. William Engle's performance re-created the original Oct. 4, 1959, dedication program. In 1959, the dedication program was played by Anton Brees from the historic Bok Singing Tower in Lake Wales, Florida.
There was a cookout on the patio of the carillon keyboard house and many listeners wandered through Butler's Holcomb Gardens during the concert.
