Sausages and WINE
The yearly bash at St Thomas is the weekend of Aug 21 and 22. Located at 46th and Illinois, the festival runs from 6-11pm. Free admission, music, games for kids and adults. And of course, SAUSAGE from Claus's. Oh by the way, there are Vegan options too. I know I know...
AND this year Graybull Organic Wines donated a wide spectrum of bottles for you to enjoy while you munch and laugh and help raise money for St Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church.
Don't miss the Sangria. mmm gooood!

IN MY BIN:
2008 Elverite Verdejo, Spain-Lush, smooth dry white. Soft aromas and flavors of citrus fruits. Mineral finish. Terrific with fish or grilled chicken.
2005 Veglio Nebbiolo, Italy-Inviting nose of bright cherries and earth; dry, medium bodied red with chewy tannins and nice finish. Delicious drink for pizza or pasta or enjoy with some of those tomatoes and basil from your garden on top of mozzarella cheese.
