Cory Black and Dave Patania opened a vitamin and nutritional health supplement store in Broad Ripple in July 2008. Point Blank Nutrition is located above Urban Optiks on the northwest corner of Cornell Avenue and 64th Street (map locator D5). Cory and Dave had known each other for a while when the idea of a nutrition store hit them. They had both been disappointed by the chain stores and knew that a small store could better serve the needs of people working out and training.

Point Blank Nutrition focuses on products that are known to work well to fulfill the specific needs of their clients. Dave and Cory know what to look for when evaluating a product to be offered at the store, such as Parrillo or Beverly International. Picking the right product, rather than some store's philosophy of carrying products that make the most money, is the goal at Point Blank.
"A lot of it is about education," explained Cory. "Ways to help people get a healthy and active lifestyle. That is why we also started IndyGetFit.com."
Dave Patania posts blogs about nutrition on their website and also monitors IndyGetFit.com. Dave has been the fitness expert for Channel 13 since 2005. He was the fitness expert for the ABC affiliate in Cincinnati for seven years before that. Cory Black is a chemical engineer.
If you want to get fit, stop in to Point Blank for a personalized fitness program that includes diet, exercise, and nutritional products. Cory and Dave are experienced and are ready to help you meet your goals.
